From 12 to 14 June, Appy People attended the 5th edition of ANGOTIC – Angola’s International ICT Forum, officially representing AppyPay, the Angolan fintech transforming the country’s payment landscape.
This year’s event was held under the theme “50 Years – Communicating, Modernising and Developing Angola”, celebrating the 50th anniversary of independence. It provided the ideal setting to showcase technological solutions shaping Angola’s digital future.
At the Appy People and AppyPay stand, the new mPOS was unveiled—a digital terminal that accepts multiple payment methods and integrates easily with business management systems, enabling automatic reconciliation and real-time transaction tracking.
Appy People’s participation reinforces the group’s commitment to innovation and digital inclusion, by offering financial solutions tailored to the local context and contributing to the modernisation of Angola’s business environment.
The representation was led by Daniel Cohen, Administrator of AppyPay, who guided visitors through the service’s features, highlighting integrations such as Multicaixa Express, reference payments, direct debit and digital wallets like UNITEL Money.
