Stream of knowledge
Kassai is an e-learning platform, based on open-source technology (Moodle), where healthcare professionals can access professional courses online. Courses can be accessed via smartphone, tablet or computer.
Creating an impact
With more than 20 courses available in Portuguese and English, the platform is used throughout the country and has about 7000 professionals enrolled and continues to grow.
The platform allows autonomous learning or teacher-guided training (using the blended learning features). This project is implemented by PSI Angola and Appy People.
Distance learning (e-learning) has been very well received by health professionals who improve their knowledge with Kassai.

Changing lives one course at a time
Kassai is allowing health professionals to improve their knowledge in critical health areas such as Malaria, Family planning, COVID-19, etc.
It provides them with the possibility of doing self-paced courses, at no cost, even without airtime (with the support from Unitel). Health workers can go through the courses as they want and need. The content is adapted to the angolan context.
